We stayed here and it was fantastic, anyone who says anything about attitude maybe themselves had a bad attitude to begin with. We had booked a different hotel and it was awful, we were able to get a room later in the evening. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, breakfast was not crowded and it was good. We will definitely be back if we have to stay in Abilene again. They also offer a military discount! Thanks for that!

Rachel and Jessica were very prompt and professional. I had a rough day and they were both so helpful and check in was fast. I wish check in was this easy everywhere. I look forward to my next stay! The bed was comfortable and it was pretty quiet the first night. The second night wasn’t as quiet because of the people in the next room slamming stuff around, it wasn’t unbearable and was quiet after a few hours. My room was above the entrance so when people pull up and slam their doors and talk, you can hear everything. It stopped around 11:30 pm. The pigeons started cooing around 5:30 am, which I thought was neat but if you aren’t in to that you might want a different room. There was some traffic noise such as loud trucks but it was not constant. They have a happy hour and it got quite loud but there is a door to the room where the beds are and you don’t hear a sound. I was impressed. I noticed people spoke negatively about the decor, but clean and quiet matter more to me than decoration, and everything is solid wood, which I liked. The microwave worked better than most hotels. They also have a restaurant and their hamburger and chicken sandwiches were excellent!

First time booking a room with this hotel. I must say it was definitely a great experience and will definitely book again with Mcm. Front desk lady Kim I believe was her name, was very helpful and nice and patient with us. They offer military discounts as well. The hot tub was nice, the bar area and restaurant were all nice as well. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Check in is at 4pm and check out is 12 pm They also serve free breakfast and free complimentary drinks from 5:30 to 7pm.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I'm there for work with a local concrete company. This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The sales manager met me the first time and introduced himself and was very professional and gave you a sense of family. The ladies at the front desk are always with a smile. They have free breakfast and the breakfast is always fresh. The cooks really pay attention and they are also friendly the kitchen area is clean the lobby is clean. The rooms give you a sense of a second home. The beds are so comfortable you fall asleep and they have 2 TVs in every room so if you have a family there will be entertainment for both. They have an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. They also have a restaurant that is reasonably priced and also a bar. The bar closes at 10 and the bartenders are also friendly and awesome women. The complimentary drinks are from 530-7 and you can only get 4 drinks but it's well worth it. I haven't felt so comfortable in a hotel like this ever. These people who work here, I can't say enough how awesome they are. There's also a lot around the hotel, there's the mall across the street, Walmart is 3 minutes away plenty of restaurants. I'm definitely hoping to come back after the holidays.

The hotel is known for old school elegance. Indeed, it was that. There’s an inside pool. The eating area was large and the breakfast came with accommodations. It’s a nice breakfast with eggs cooked to order and a decent supply of drinks. There are also vending machines on several floors. I like especially the style of the suites. They have living rooms, kitchen areas, and a bathroom that can be accessed from the bedroom and another from the living room. If there was one thing that could be improved, it was the toilet seats. It does not seem they have been changed since the hotel opened. Lastly, the staff were really nice.

I just want to say thank you to Zach for being so helpful to my family and I during our stay ! He made sure we got a great rate and that we were comfortable from check in to check out. He checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed ! The kids loved the pool, our family appreciated the housekeeping service and the cleanliness of our room! The food was amazing!! We will be back ! Ask for Zach and the entire staff was amazing & always kind ! Above and beyond ! Highly recommend!

It's a little dated, but you get a ton of extras in what is probably a three-star place for 2026 what was almost certainly a five-star place back in the day. Our rooms were standard suites with two double beds and a fold-out couch, but the bedroom is a separate bedroom with a Jack and Jill bathroom, a nice touch. A bar, sink, fridge and microwave, plus a full table in the couch room, round out the layout which is really a nice suite. The restaurants are good value too, if a little bland to suit the West Texas palate. The full bar is also a nice touch. Only complaint I had about the breakfast, which is in a nice atrium, was that I was surprised to discover the second day I was there that there were some items you could order to custom and it was not obvious. Service was uniformly outstanding. What I didn't have I didn't ask for, and what I asked for I got delivered. Staff was friendly and willing to help that I had to turn down them walking some luggage back to my room. Another plus is that it is directly across from the Abilene mall, and in particular the mall movie theater. It's in a great location for lots of non-mall restaurants and activities as well, within a few miles of the local colleges but far enough away that there's probably not a huge influx of college alumni unless they have family. This is a big family place so be warned there will be kids. But at the value of the joint I would assume there would be plenty of professionals and there are, as during the time I was there I noted utility workers and airline folks there. This is definitely a recommended location.

The experience with this hotel has been miserable and has been a mistake on my part for believing I chose a good place to stay. The room was not cleaned or stocked. dirty old used washclothes and towels hanging in a new room and empty toilet paper roll behind the bathroom door. Went to go use the swimming pool and hot tub only to be harassed by the front desk lady about needing to show my id to use the pool. Never have I been more disrespected by someone of the staff at a place I've payed to stay. It's a joke, how could you expect to get by when you are being ugly about someone wanting help. The tv in the main bedroom had the volume broken or wouldn't get much higher than a whisper in terms of the loudness. Haven't tried to ask for help after being insulted for wondering why the pool was closed. I advise people to stay at a better place managed by politer staff members who are up stuck and rude to the point making me want to leave on the spot. I won't be back to another MCM for as long as I live. edit the employees name who was rude to me is Kris. some new hire that should work on her manners.
